Job details
In charge of the medical diagnosis and therapy of medical diseases and problems, in addition to the arrangement of medical treatment in the area of Neuroradiology according to the current clinical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Hospital's plans and procedures.
Important Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities:- Provides premium quality patient care in all aspects of Neuroradiology according to his/her approved medical privileges.
- Offers consultation (inpatient and emergency room) upon request and responds in a timely manner within the prescribed duration as detailed in KFSH & RC (Gen. Org.) policy.
- Responsible for the prompt completion, accuracy, and qualification of the medical record.
- Provides on-call service and ensures availability and response time within the suggested timeframe in accordance with Hospital policy.
- Conducts daily morning rounds to determine patients ready for discharge. Ensures that discharge orders are written 24 hours prior to release.
- Performs any other professional duties related to Neuroradiology, as assigned.
- Provides orientation, bedside training, and guidance to students, residents, and others as assigned.
- Participates in the Department's and training programs. Engages in national and international medical conferences.
- Maintains and enhances professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.
- Participates in clinical, basic, and translational research projects in accordance with Research Advisory Council Policy to advance knowledge, improve the quality of postgraduate education, and contribute to the national and international recognition of KFSH & RC (Gen. Org.).
Education
Graduation from an accredited medical institution, completion of required duration of training in specialty and/or subspecialty, with Arab or American Board certification, membership and/or fellowship status in the United Kingdom and/or Canada or their equivalent.Experience Required
7 (seven) years of training in specialty or subspecialty plus postgraduate training experience must amount to or exceed seven (7) years' experience in the subspecialty. #J-18808-LjbffrApply safely
