- Lead the shift to ensure all warehouse operations like pick-pack, receipt, dispatch, and planning are executed on-time and in-full, adhering to Metcash’s values and procedures.
- Create a positive team culture by providing guidance, training, and feedback to staff, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
- Champion safety in the workplace, ensuring all OHS guidelines are followed and any incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
- Lead change by identifying areas of improvement, driving efficiency, and contributing to a culture of growth and engagement.
- Coordinate daily staffing and operational needs, making sure we have the right team in place to meet our business demands while maintaining a balanced work environment.
- Monitor and control warehouse costs, ensuring we operate efficiently and within budget.
- Experience in FMCG operations and a proven track record of leading teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on collaborative solutions.
- Knowledge of OHS and HACCP regulations, with a commitment to workplace safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with automated warehousing systems (desirable).
