What's on offer In the role of Apprentice Electrician, you will form part of a team maintaining and upgrading electrical systems across City water and wastewater assets.

• Work alongside skilled electricians, assisting with electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across the City
• Gain exposure to a wide range of electrical systems in City buildings, helping to maintain vital infrastructure
• Under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson, assist with installing wiring, outlets, switches, and electrical panels in various settings
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned, maintained, and stored
• Learn to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and plans under the guidance of a qualified tradesperson to ensure accurate installations.
• Help with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, with oversight from a qualified electrician.
