Electrical Site Supervisor

PHE Power and Infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our Queensland team on a permanent, full-time basis. We encourage candidates from the Brisbane or Gympie area as well as the nearby Sunshine Coast, or those willing to relocate, to apply. The role will be a mixture of local work and DIDO/FIFO work on construction works for Power Stations in the Bowen & Surat Basins. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to deliver safe, productive and quality electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial settings.
• Report project status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality when required.
• Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology.
• Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities.
• Oversee PHE apprentices and ensure they are consistently learning and improving their standard of work.

About You: To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

• Experienced leading a team made up of leading hands, electricians, other trades, apprentices and non-trades people on industrial sites.
• Must be able to lead a team that maintains an excellent attitude to safety through leading by example.
• The ability to lead a highly productive team to meet project and company objectives.
• Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain long-term client relationships.
• Enjoy problem-solving.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams and Excel.
• Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
• Previous experience in job estimating and quoting.
• Quality Management experience.
• Budget management experience.
• Flexible and open to working away from home, as required by the company.

Licences:

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
• QLD Electrical Licence
• High risk work licence with WP Class
• Working at Heights certificate within the past 2 years
• LVR/CPR certificate within the past 12 months
• White Construction Card
• C Class Drivers Licence
• Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
