Our N&C Tiles and Bathroom outlets provide our customers with the most exciting product ranges and best value packages in the industry. We seek a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities through preventive maintenance, swift repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. The company manufactures tiling adhesives, floor screeds, and associated products so a background in this industry would be advantageous but not essential. The company specializes in mixing powder products and filling them into sacks and uses an FFS machine to fill others, they also produce pastes, liquids, and ancillary products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and improve planned maintenance on all equipment.
  • Perform and improve reactive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all tasks.
  • Collaborate with the production team to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Part of the health and safety committee.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
  • Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field (NVQ, HND, Degree, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergencies when required.
  • Counterbalance and reach truck trained (not essential).
