Systems Tech Lead (SFIA 4)

Location Options: Canberra, Sydney (Penrith), Melbourne (Box Hill), Brisbane. Remote Desktop Application may be used, where required and only if approved by the Project Manager. Travel may be required on an ad hoc basis to attend associated workshops and meetings. Position Overview The Tech lead is a senior engineer who oversees development in a systems team. Responsibilities

• Oversee technical activities of software development and infrastructure management, including design, development and implementation of system changes.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to less experienced team members to improve technical capability of the team. This includes guiding team members with troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Provide technical advice to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with others to provide technical direction and standards across the branch and support a culture of continuous improvement.
