Job details

  • Assist the chef in running the kitchen on a daily basis and maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Assist in managing the increased workload during peak hours.
  • Assist the Chef to cook and prepare basic dishes under the direction of the chef, getting supplies from the storage, plating and garnishing food, and setting up the cooking equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation duties, including washing, chopping, slicing, and peeling fruits and preparing basic items like spices and sauces.
  • Assist with inventory management including monitoring, maintaining, and restocking as needed. Keep a check on the amount of inventory, and notify the Chef when supplies need to be refilled.
  • Cleaning and Sanitization: Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning countertops, sinks, stovetops, and other surfaces. Regularly sweep and mop floors. Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
  • Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required/assigned by the chef.
Job Requirements:
  • Only Malaysian Citizen
  • Accuracy and speed in carrying out duties
  • Have basic cooking experience and knowledge
  • Excellent in using a variety of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment in the kitchen.
  • Previous basic cooking experience in western food is a great benefit
Job Type: Full-time Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month Schedule: Day shift
