Maintenance Technician (Shift / Coating Mfg / Klang)

  • Quickly respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and minimize production downtime.
  • Safely perform maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on various plant equipment.
  • Estimate job durations and report potential issues to prevent delays.
  • Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and safety concerns.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards and company production targets.
  • Identify spare parts requirements and maintain usage logs.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Assist with equipment moving, installation, and repositioning.
  • Complete job tickets and follow the 5S methodology for workplace organization.
  • Report accidents, promote environmental compliance, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Operate forklifts and lifting equipment.
  • Care for assigned tools and properties.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
Job Requirement:
  • Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical, or equivalent.
  • Preferably AO, A1 Certificate with specialization in wiring/electrical maintenance.
  • Over one year of proven maintenance technician experience in manufacturing.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and other systems.
  • Familiarity with Employment and Safety at Work Legislation, PLCs, Sensors, AC/DC Drives, motors, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems.
  • Willingness to work in Klang and on rotational shifts.
