We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead the product development of Robot Autonomy in our Bangalore office. In this role, you will work closely with the Robot Software and Machine Learning engineering teams to ensure a deep understanding of the correct Robot Autonomy for each stage in the product strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, based in Wellington, New Zealand, you will play a critical role in driving the product vision and execution. This role must start ~7:30 am most days to ensure sufficient cross-over time with New Zealand. What you’ll be doing -Be a strong member of the Product team, working closely with peers to empathise with customers, understand their pain with the problem and evaluate the market opportunities. -Collaborate closely with the Robot Software and Machine Learning engineering teams in Bangalore, providing clear guidance on the correct core functionality for each stage in the product strategy. -Ensure effective communication and alignment between the engineering teams in Bangalore and the Head of Product in Wellington, New Zealand. -Take ownership of outcomes across user stages, driving the development and enhancement of core functionality to deliver exceptional value to customers. -Develop an intimate understanding of the core set of features in robot autonomy, including their technical intricacies, performance, and reliability aspects. -Analyse the cost-value relationship with different persona groups, aligning feature development with the specific needs and preferences of each segment. -Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science, to ensure the right features are being built to drive impactful outcomes. -Prioritise feature development, taking into account business objectives, customer needs, and technological feasibility, with a focus on creating value for our users express and this on a product roadmap. -Scope engineering efforts to optimize business and customer outcomes, with a particular emphasis on reliability, performance, and usability. -Continuously gather and analyze user feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to inform the product roadmap and future enhancements. -Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging creativity and collaboration among team members, and championing a user-centric approach to product development. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the robot's efficiency, reliability, and user satisfaction. -Competitive Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor products to ensure our Mobile Robot remains a market leader. -Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the product adheres to all relevant safety and regulatory standards, especially given the robot's interaction with children's toys.
