About the Role As a Nutritionist, you will be at the heart of empowering clients to embrace healthier eating habits and lifestyles, enhancing their overall well-being. Your role involves assessing individual needs, creating tailored meal plans, and providing expert advice to help clients achieve their health goals. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to stay ahead of the latest nutritional research and trends, bring excellent communication skills, and genuinely care about making a difference in others’ lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Assessment & Planning: Conduct assessments to understand clients’ dietary needs, goals, and medical history, creating personalized nutrition plans.
- Consultation & Education: Educate clients on healthy eating, meal planning, and lifestyle changes through one-on-one consultations.
- Progress Tracking & Support: Monitor clients’ progress, adjust plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and motivation. Participate in company training, stay updated on industry trends, and share knowledge through educational content or workshops.
- Research & Development: Conduct research on nutrition and health, and contribute findings to the field.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional nutritionist (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply).
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of biochemistry, nutrition, research methods, and human physiology. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal skills. Required: Bahasa Malaysia and English. Bonus: Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
