Software Developer

Purpose of the job: Designing, coding, testing, modifying, and implementing new software products. Job Functions 1. Contribute to the enhancement of in-house systems

1. Analysing existing programs for modification purposes.
2. Researching and designing new software systems, programs, and applications.
3. Writing & implementing clean, scalable code.
4. Troubleshooting & debugging code.
5. Verifying & deploying software systems.
6. Evaluate user feedback.
7. Recommending & executing program improvements.
8. Maintaining software code & security systems.
9. Creating technical documents & training staff.

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Assist Senior Management in ensuring effective relationships with external stakeholders.
3. Stay current and up to date on any technology changes.
4. Finding the root cause of operational issues and fixing the root cause to prevent the issue from re-occurring.
5. Ad-hoc functions such as processing customer accounts, filing documents, and processing pending cancellations.

1. Ensure that all buying processes are followed, and documentation is in accordance with Company Policies.
2. Accuracy of documentation is critical and not negotiable.
3. Comply with any and all reasonable instructions and requests from Management.
4. Report any deviations and suspicious activities to management immediately.

• Internal – Admin clerks, Managers, Sales/dealer staff.
• External – Dealers, customers.

• Good communication skills.
• Familiarity with agile development technologies.
• 3-5 years working experience.

• Process driven.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-starter.

• Matric - Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Diploma/Degree – in IT or software related fields.

• Microsoft Suite - intermediate.
• Salesforce would be beneficial.

• Must be proficient in logic.
