Tealium IQ Specialist

Job Title: Tealium iQ Specialist Location: Remote (WFH) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tealium iQ Expert to join our team for an important tagging project. As a Tealium iQ Expert, you will play a crucial role in implementing, verifying, and ensuring the alignment of tags within our digital properties. Your expertise in Tealium iQ and tag management will be instrumental in meeting our client's technical requirements and ensuring a seamless user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and configure Tealium iQ solutions, ensuring accurate data collection, integration with various marketing tools, and seamless user experiences. Job Duties:

• Collaborate closely with the project team, including developers, marketers, and analysts, to understand the tagging requirements and technical specifications.
• Implement various tags using Tealium iQ to track user interactions, events, and other important metrics across our digital platforms.
• Verify the accurate deployment of tags in the development (DEV) and quality assurance (QA) environments, ensuring they function as intended.
• Conduct thorough testing to confirm that the implemented tags align with the client's technical requirements and meet industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to tag implementation, data collection, or integration with third-party tools.
• Collaborate with the client to clarify technical requirements, address questions, and provide expertise in Tealium iQ implementation.
• Ensure that the tagging strategy adheres to data privacy and compliance guidelines, including GDPR and other relevant regulations.
• Provide timely updates on the progress of the tagging project and any potential challenges to the project manager.
• Document the implemented tags, configurations, and any troubleshooting steps taken for future reference.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to Tealium iQ configurations, implementations, and best practices.
• Create and manage data layer variables, extensions, and rules to support advanced marketing and analytics tracking needs.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights, recommendations, and best practices related to tag management and data collection.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new features in Tealium iQ to provide innovative solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to internal teams on Tealium iQ usage and best practices.

Education/Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience and expertise in Tealium iQ and tag management implementations.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, analytics tracking, and data integration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for tag customization and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data layer implementations, custom events, and data mapping.
• Familiarity with various tag types, including analytics tags, marketing tags, and third-party integrations.
• Ability to independently implement, test, and troubleshoot tags within complex web environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work within project timelines.
• Experience with debugging tools and browser developer tools for tag troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with various marketing and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.
• Certifications in Tealium iQ.
• Expertise in related platforms
