Primary responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deliver modules and programs that align and support the customer service, retail operations, training philosophy and strategy, and support the organization and business needs while considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budgets as assessing the return on investment
- Identifying training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources department
- Defining training curriculum and designing schedule. Creating new modules and evaluate existing ones.
- Developing effective induction programs and devising individual learning plans
- Deliver effective training designed to encourage the developmental growth of employees and incorporate core competency gap reduction.
- Managing the delivery of training and development programs, and devising a training strategy for the organization.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through various tools and evaluating the success ratio of training and development programs
- Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met
- Amending and revising modules as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
- Providing solutions to line managers and trainers solve specific training problems
- Researching new technologies and methodologies for retail training and workplace learning.
- Provide effective supervision, support and leadership to trainers
- Build positive and collaborative working relationships with various business partners within the organization
- Excellent interpersonal, prioritizing and leadership skills.
- Highly developed oral and written communication, problem solving and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in content writing and presentations skills.
- Ability to work with and relate to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders especially at senior level
- Organizational and planning skills to manage time and to meet deadlines and objectives
- Good time-keeping skills to effectively manage training schedules
- Knowledge of group dynamics and teaming best practices
- Analytical skills & Proficiency in excel
