Dear Candidates, Wipro is Hiring!!! Mainframe Modernization Architect Experience- 10 - 15yrs Location- Noida, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai , Coimbatore. Key Responsibilities: 1. Experience with analysis & business rules extraction from mainframe applications (via documentation, flowcharts and diagrams), which will be the sequence of detailed instructions & logical steps for coding into target language. 2. Create architectures and designs, conduct peer reviews, and provide consulting support for target state architecture. 3. Provide expert advice on mainframe modernization strategies, demonstrating a clear understanding of the benefits and potential risks. 4. Support Business Analysts in translating the extracted business rules from mainframe applications into business requirements 5. Applies knowledge of database design standards and database management. 6. Implement Proof of Concepts as needed to assist with research and development of strategic roadmap. 7. Work with business partners to drive and capture both functional and non-functional system requirements. 8. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with mainframe modernization projects and develop mitigation plans. Interpersonal Experience Required: 1. Excellent Customer interaction skills and stakeholder management skills 2. Effective and sensitive communicator with people from different societies and cultures. 3. Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Present complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. 4. Must have good communication skills, must be able to create presentations and present solutions to the client or concerned teams. Qualifications: 1. 14+ years of overall experience in Mainframes including 3-5+ years of experience in Legacy Migration/Modernization 2. Expert knowledge in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM. 3. Expert knowledge of complex SQL and optimization techniques. 4. Knowledge of Job scheduler 5. Experience of Build tools: Easytrieve, CA-7, IBM Debug tool for z/OS, Syncsort, SPUFI. 6. Experience of Job Scheduling system: CA-7 (ESP) and Control-M 7. Experience of SCM: ChangeMan, Endevor. 8. Experience of zConnect or other integration tools a plus. 9. Awareness of AWS Cloud Concepts. 10. Knowledge of various modernization tools and vendor offerings like CAST, IBM ADDI, Cloud Frame, BluAge etc. is preferred
