Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of projects related to the production and engineering of polycarbonate plastics. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Lead the execution of projects from initiation to completion.
  • Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and other project staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Process Optimization : Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for polycarbonate plastics to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Safety and Compliance : Ensure all projects comply with safety standards and environmental regulations. Implement best practices for health and safety in the workplace.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Continuous Improvement : Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and project management practices.
Qualifications:
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management are a plus.
  • Experience : Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in project management within the plastic manufacturing industry, particularly with polycarbonate plastics or plastic engineering.
  • Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in project management software.
  • Certifications : PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred.
