Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our asset management team. The ideal candidate will excel in preparing high-quality, client-ready quarterly property performance reports, managing lender communications, and analyzing real estate data to provide actionable insights. This role is an excellent fit for someone with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, coupled with expertise in the commercial real estate sector. Key Responsibilities:

1. Quarterly Reporting Preparation: 

• Draft and deliver accurate, investor-friendly, client-ready reports on property performance.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Asset Management and Accounting teams to facilitate accurate and timely quarterly financial reporting. 
• Ensure that all reporting activities adhere to established timelines, maintaining investor-friendly formats and presentations.
• Review and reconcile data from various teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
• Identify areas for improvement in reporting processes and implement best practices for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. 

• Serve as the primary contact for building new and maintaining existing lender relationships. 
• Scout and evaluate leads, securing competitive quotes for loans and cost segregation studies. 
• Address lender queries and recommend the best lending options for potential properties. 
• Foster strong partnerships with financial institutions to ensure ongoing support and access to favorable financial services.

• Work closely with the Asset Management team to understand asset performance and integrate insights into financial analysis and reporting.
• Support the Accounting team with relevant data and insights to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. 
• Provide regular updates and communicate effectively across departments to foster collaboration and alignment on financial objectives

• Stay up-to-date with developments in the commercial real estate market and prepare crispy, short insight reports
• Leverage market insights to support strategic decisions and improve reporting quality.

• Adapt to miscellaneous tasks in a growing start-up environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in handling new challenges as they arise.

1. Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Finance) or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) is a plus.

• Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and market research. 
• Demonstrated success in coordinating cross-functional teams and meeting tight deadlines. Experience with negotiating financial terms and working with lenders or service providers. 

• Excellent writing skills to craft clear, concise, and impactful reports and communications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams. 
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools and reporting software. 
• Solid understanding of financial markets, lending practices, and accounting principles.
