JOB LOCATION: Navi Mumbai (Belapur) Responsibilities
- Create and Execute the QA project test plan. This can include functionality, balance, stability, performance, interface, art, sound, text, documentation, and other types of testing
- Test games across various platforms, gaining an extensive knowledge of each.
- Find, reproduce, and accurately report issues in detailed bug reports.
- Carry out examination and revision of reported issues.
- Provide clear and concise critical analysis and feedback, when requested.
- Participate in a close-knit, friendly atmosphere, sharing ideas and helping others when needed.
- Learn about and adhere to our internal systems, software and processes.
- Perform all types of testing including Functionality, Compatibility, Explorative, Usability and Regression.
- Regularly explore innovative methods to improve the testing process.
- Report encountered bugs in the bug database (Jira) with proper STR and attachment if needed.
- Provide feedback and suggestions with reference to the game to the development team.
- Send a daily status report to the team lead.
- Writing Test cases and execute them.
- Escalate issues regarding the team motivation / working / bonding / conflicts to the team lead and suggest viable actions.
- Mentor and train juniors as per the requirement.
- Offering constant and relevant feedback related to progress, risks, needs that may occur.
- Proficient with QA Tools.
- Experience in test script, test case, test suite and test plan creation.
- Assist the Production/Development team in tracking down issues and working out the steps to reproduce so that they are easier to locate and fix
- Competent gaming ability.
- An interest in and understanding of the video game industry.
- Good general PC knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Good standard of written English.
