Nampak, a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking a dynamic Business Improvement Manager to spearhead Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) initiatives across our operations. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership •Champion Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) initiatives to meet business objectives. •Develop stakeholder capabilities and foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture. •Drive performance improvements through key performance indicators (KPIs). Knowledge Management •Train teams in continuous improvement methodologies. •Manage a shared learning database and implement best practices across sites. Project Management & Cost Saving •Lead and facilitate Profit Improvement Projects (PIPs) to deliver measurable cost savings. •Conduct loss and waste analysis to resolve systemic challenges. •Benchmark world-class practices and organize shared learning events. Coaching & Mentoring •Train and empower site leaders in change management. •Mentor talent pipeline and support leadership development programs. Governance & Compliance •Ensure adherence to governance standards and compliance with quality policies. •Perform maturity assessments and maintain manufacturing high-performance dashboards. Learning & Development •Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team. •Drive succession planning and ensure an engaged, focused team. The ideal candidate should possess the following: •6-8 years in manufacturing, including 2+ years in management. •Expertise in World Class Manufacturing methodologies and change management. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SharePoint. •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. •Expertise in project management, coaching, and leadership. •Regulatory Knowledge •Lean and Six Sigma certifications (advantageous). #J-18808-Ljbffr
