BER Assessor (Hybrid) - Clare Excel Recruitment is delighted to partner with a growing company in energy consultation, solutions, design, and implementation to hire a Senior BER Assessor. This is a permanent role based in the Ennis office, with a balance of on-site surveys and remote working. Responsibilities for BER Assessor (Hybrid)
- Conducting residential and non-residential BER assessments to a high standard.
- Leading and mentoring junior team members, including Graduate BER Assessors.
- Carrying out detailed take-offs from site surveys and technical drawings.
- Preparing comprehensive home energy assessments and upgrade proposals.
- Delivering energy audits with tailored recommendations for energy upgrade reports and design.
- Overseeing preliminary assessments, cost estimates, and project feasibility analysis.
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Construction, Science, or Engineering, with a focus on energy sustainability.
- Certified BER Assessor with at least 2+ years of relevant experience in energy consultancy or similar roles.
- Strong technical proficiency, including expertise in Office, CAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent software.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Strong planning, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and technical drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
