Senior Project Manager - Transport

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for transport projects across Ireland, including road, rail, public transport, and active travel schemes. The role is designed for a Chartered Engineer with a strong background in transport planning and design, ideally with experience presenting evidence at Oral Hearings for EIAR and CPO processes. The position offers flexible hybrid working, with a base in either Cork or Galway. Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams for successful delivery of transport schemes.
- Oversee planning, design, and project management of major transport projects across Ireland.
- Coordinate preparation and administration of construction contracts for public and private sector clients.
- Develop EIAR and CPO documentation and manage submissions.
- Build and maintain client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Chartered Engineer with significant experience in a consultancy environment, ideally with transport projects.
- Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (Level 8/9).
- Proficient in relevant design standards with practical application in efficient and cost-effective designs.
- Proven experience across all phases of transport project delivery, from feasibility to construction supervision.
- Strong understanding of EIAR, CPO, procurement processes, and contract administration.
- Full Irish/EU driving license.
- Strong communicator with the ability to manage relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to project goals.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
