Purpose of Role: Develop a creative vision for the visual elements of projects and guide a team of designers to deliver high-quality creative output. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to initiate, develop, and coordinate effective design solutions for all client materials at a senior level. Add value to our business and our clients by delivering graphic materials based on designs. Manage end-to-end creative initiatives, guiding the creative/design team in the conception, design, and execution of visual materials. Key Responsibilities: CREATIVE, DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGEMENT Takes and leads in the development of creative briefs from concept to completion. Mentors and nurtures junior designers, developing the skills and talents of the creative team members and fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Owns and executes growth and high-priority projects, ensuring they align with the client’s vision and objectives. Prepares preliminary designs/sketches for concept/proposal and recommends modifications as appropriate. Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery in accordance with Best Practice procedures. Maintains rigorous quality control standards, reviewing and approving all design/creative work to ensure it meets client brand guidelines and project requirements. Develops and maintains strong client engagements, including regular client meetings and updates on projects. Logs all assigned tasks in the job tracking software. Keeps Account Manager appraised and updated on project status as needed. Identifies opportunities for improved efficiencies or additional services for the client. Stays updated on industry trends and incorporates innovative design techniques, including hardware and software advancements. LEADERSHIP, TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT Leads client and staff meetings as appropriate. Manages staff using a ‘lead-by-example’ approach and assists with any role when necessary to ensure client service expectations are met. Fosters a positive, cohesive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment between staff members of both intra- and inter-office departments. Participates in staff periodic performance evaluation and development plans. Maintains site employee capability matrix. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains confidentiality and exhibits professional decorum at all times. Adheres to and promotes the company’s policies, programs, and initiatives. Performs all other duties as assigned. Key Requirements: Degree in Art, Design, Advertising, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with extensive work in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or Electronic Layout. Experience and understanding of working in-house on a corporate brand. Advanced experience with Adobe CS and Adobe Acrobat, in addition to a general understanding of hardware. Software focus may change depending on site/customer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
