Overview: To follow and understand works as per approved procedures, project specification and drawings for structural components for shop fabrication as per construction sequence and schedule. To ensure compliance to HSE regulations and requirements. To supervise the relevant sub-contractors to ensure the major output within the stipulated schedule without sacrificing the HSE & Quality requirements. Responsibilities: To prepare constructability slides and coordinate with other disciplines about construction sequence. To conduct the daily toolbox briefing with subcontractors to comply with the project requirements. To coordinate the subcontractor's supervisor regarding daily manpower allocation and schedule the activities. To ensure all the workers follow our HSE policies and requirements. To attend the PSCC meeting and coordinate incompatible activities without any HSE issues and apply necessary Permits (PTW) and ensure the PTW is approved before the commencement of works. To check all the activities to be done with proper Risk assessment and method statement and brief all the workers involved in the job. To raise the NSI request forms for Project and temporary materials whichever are not captured by EDD. To raise the El 2 to EDD if required for any technical issues at site activities. To coordinate with EDD engineers/Clients for the shop/site-related construction activities. To participate in the weekly PMT Meeting & subcontractor meeting to meet the weekly and monthly progress as per the planned schedule. To monitor the subcontractor QC's checks and NDT checks as per project specifications. To conduct internal audits and ensure the subcontract documents are the latest. To send the progress status to the Project engineer weekly or send it to the planning department for the Progress. To ensure all shop fabricated items are followed by the release note system. To ensure the display board with relevant & latest WPS at all times in the Shop or Erection sites. To ensure electrode store equipment is calibrated/monitored and supervise the electrode store man/monitor and keep a record of daily consumables of electrodes/FCAW wires/SAW wires/Gouging carbons & sufficient available stock. To monitor gas consumption and notify the stores department to raise NSI as and when required. To attend the toolbox meeting in time particularly on the weekend and nightshift and hand over the activities with return forms. To monitor the day shift and night shift progress and allocate the jobs under his subordinates. Requirements: Diploma/Bachelor Degree in related Engineering Disciplines. For Senior or Lead positions, at least more than 10 years of experience. Strong safety mindset. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Team-oriented and has high initiative. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work at height and/or confined spaces. This is a 2-year contract position.
