Implement the health services strategy, and the setup of services. Client Details Our client is a leading industrial organization based in Saudi Arabia. Description

  1. Assist the Health Director in developing the Health Assessment Program plan for assigned employee groups, using the Health Services Operating Discipline.
  2. Participate with the service provider to provide input and assure quality in the evaluation of facility or department chemical and physical agent hazards, exposure information, and regulatory standards to determine the specific testing and frequency needed for employees in the group.
  3. Assist with the production of health care education materials relevant to the employees.
  4. Capable of performing pre-employment assessments for work fitness.
  5. Capable of performing annual medical checkups and issuing fitness certificates.
  6. IOD assessment, management, reporting and communication with other departments accordingly.
  7. Ensure good communication between the director of health care services and the service provider/s to ensure effective communication flows in both directions, that relevant issues are highlighted, and that actions agreed are implemented.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of Health Services Operating Discipline, management systems, programs, and plans as assigned.
  9. Assist the Medical Director in coordinating the review and providing health services related input to the guidelines, standards, and programs.
  10. Recommend improvements and propose solutions to health services issues.
  11. Become an expert user in the application of the occupational health management systems (ODMS).
  12. Become an expert user and consultant on the Occupational Health Information Management System.
  13. Assist with the quality assurance program, participating in the formal and informal auditing of the services in respect of quality and performance against the service level agreement/s, closing out of gaps and corrective actions, responsiveness to issues, management of medical records, and ensuring data capture is done to the required standard.
  14. Develop good knowledge of the Employee Assistance Program.
  15. Be involved in the Medical Review Board (MRB) as requested by the Occupational Health Nurse to address complex or difficult medical, job, or personal issues complicating the management of a case.
Profile Medical Bachelor and Bachelor of Surgery. Master's degree or higher (PhD or fellowship) in Occupational Health with not less than 2 years of experience. Job Offer Competitive salary and benefits. Skills Occupational health, physician, medical doctor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
