Logistics Coordinator

Reference: 9897 SJ Consultant: Sone Johnson Reporting to the Senior Manager Logistics, the incumbent would be responsible for supervising certain areas within the distribution center, which includes overseeing staff, inventory and operational & administrative systems and controls. Job Description:

1. Forecasting and planning of resources requirements (people and equipment)
2. Forecast and planning of warehousing space allocations requirements to support DC throughput growth
3. Forecast and planning of Service Provider (3PL) requirement to support DC throughput growth
4. Initiation and execution of DC resources optimisation initiative
5. Optimising warehousing operations (materials Handling)
6. Continuous evaluation of distribution processes and identification of opportunities for improvement
7. Execution of policies and standards pertaining to materials handling and ensuring compliance to safety standards
8. Set performance expectations provide guidance and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
9. Maintain internal and external stakeholder relations
10. Responsible for relationship management with stakeholders and ensures adherence to service level agreement
11. Leveraging advanced system technologies to enhance the efficiency of the DC
12. Monitoring of system service provider support
13. Maintaining accurate inventory records and executing inventory control measures to minimise discrepancies and losses

1. NQF 5 or equivalent
2. 4 years related experience
3. Intermediate MS Office skills and WMS and Blue Yonder experience
4. Code 08 Drivers licence
