Job Description

  1. Lead the Investment Attraction Department within the Strategy and Business Development unit, overseeing the identification of potential investors in the energy sector. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to attract and secure investment in SPARK, driving long-term growth and organizational success.
  2. Oversee and manage the lease administration and tenant relations functions, ensuring efficient operations, fostering strong partnerships, and aligning tenant needs with SPARK's strategic objectives.
  3. Lead the development and management of a comprehensive database targeting industrial investors within the energy sector.
  4. Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy in alignment with SPARK's objectives, budget, and long-term goals.
  5. Drive research on industries, markets, demographics, trends, sales performance, and other relevant data to inform strategic decision-making.
  6. Conduct in-depth analysis of competitor offerings, including specifications, market share, pricing, and promotional strategies, to identify market opportunities.
  7. Generate and present detailed reports on research findings and analysis to guide marketing initiatives and strategic planning.
  8. Develop and recommend marketing approaches, budget allocations, and resource plans to achieve SPARK's business objectives.
  9. Attract and secure industrial investors aligned with SPARK's targeted energy sectors, driving growth and strategic alignment.
  10. Support investors in developing land application forms, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
  11. Lead commercial and technical due diligence processes for investor land applications to ensure feasibility and compliance.
  12. Draft, negotiate, and finalize lease agreements, in collaboration with the legal team, ensuring adherence to contractual terms.
  13. Coordinate the review and approval of lease agreements with all relevant stakeholders (legal, commercial, technical, and finance).
  14. Manage the SPARK tenant roadmap, ensuring consistency with organizational procedures and strategic priorities.
  15. Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and investors to support ongoing business development and success.
  16. Represent SPARK at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and promote business growth.
  17. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to senior management, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of system records.
  18. Oversee the operations of SPARK's Customer Service Centre, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  19. Lead and manage SPARK's One-Stop-Shop, liaising with government and semi-government entities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  20. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  21. A Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification is required.
  22. A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in investment attraction, business development, or a related field.
  23. Exceptional command of both oral and written English is required, with strong communication and presentation skills.
