Under the leadership of the Regional Sales Manager, the Assistant Manager - Showroom will be responsible for managing the sales team and their daily sales activities as well as identifying, analyzing, and recommending specific sales opportunities for the profitable growth of the Retail business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and look after the Sales team and their daily sales activities.
  • Responsible for the identification of new sales opportunities and achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to collect data and draw inferences to arrive at decision points, considering the overall strategic direction of the Retail Division.
  • Assist the Showroom Manager in structuring deals in the most effective manner possible.
  • Prepare periodic detailed sales and stock reports and proposals for sales opportunities.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports/briefs for the Showroom Manager.
  • Lead and guide Showroom sales executives by providing them with technical guidance, training, and the required growth opportunities to ensure development in showroom performance.
  • Any other responsibility related to the sales process during the year through management.

Education

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Management, or a relevant field.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in sales and marketing.
  • Excellent management skills and leading teams.
  • Familiarity with social media to promote company products and find new clients.
  • Business English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Email, and POS Admin.
  • Experience in Ceramics products would be a great plus.
