The Oracle EBS Functional tester will work and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.Position Title: Oracle Functional Tester - Oracle EBS (Order to Cash, Inventory, Manufacturing)Location: Noida or BengaluruJob Type: Full TimeExperience Level: 6+ yearsJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Functional Tester with in-depth expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), specifically in the Order to Cash (O2C), Inventory, and Manufacturing (MFG) modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional understanding of business processes and workflows within these domains and possess the skills to design, execute, and validate test cases to ensure seamless implementation and enhancement of Oracle EBS solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts for Oracle EBS modules, ensuring full coverage of business processes in O2C, Inventory, and MFG.Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate system functionality against business requirements.Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with the development team for resolution.Verify end-to-end process flows, ensuring all dependencies between modules are correctly configured and functioning.Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.Work with stakeholders to ensure alignment on test outcomes and compliance with defined business needs.Support UAT by coordinating with end-users, addressing issues, and ensuring all business-critical functionalities are validated.Create detailed and reusable test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices that align with business requirements.Prepare and present testing status reports, including defect analysis, root cause assessments, and impact evaluations.Maintain comprehensive testing documentation for future audits and process improvements.Provide feedback on system improvements based on testing outcomes and user feedback.Continuously optimize testing strategies and methodologies for Oracle EBS to improve efficiency and effectiveness.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:Minimum 6 years of experience in functional testing within Oracle EBS environments.Proven track record of successful testing in complex Oracle EBS implementations or upgrades.Experience with integration testing involving third-party systems interacting with Oracle EBS.Key Skills:Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle EBS functional testing, specifically in:Order to Cash (O2C): Order management, invoicing, accounts receivable, and credit/debit memo processing.Inventory: Item management, stock control, and inventory replenishment processes.Manufacturing (MFG): Work in process (WIP), bill of materials (BOM), production scheduling, and cost management.Strong understanding of Oracle EBS tables, workflows, and interfaces to validate end-to-end processes.Familiarity with testing tools like HP ALM, JIRA, or equivalent tools for defect management and test execution.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Oracle EBS modules or relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB).Experience with automation testing tools for Oracle EBS.Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and validating backend processes.Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.Key Competencies:Strategic ThinkingTechnical ProficiencyEffective CommunicationAdaptabilityIf you have the requisite skills and experience, we encourage you to apply and join us on this rewarding journey.ImpactQA Is Committed to EqualityImpactQA is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
