Role Description: To work on US GAAP based General Ledger real estate accounting process. Analyze General Ledgers for Expenses and Incomes for preparation of Month, quarter & year-end activities. Participate in client calls & provide training to the team members. Deliver the assigned project with high quality in the prescribed turnaround time. Essential Qualifications: Graduation in Accountancy / Commerce. Preferred Master in Accountancy / Commerce /Finance or Chartered Accountants or Cost Accountants/CMATechnical Qualifications: Knowledge in MS-Office (Excel & Word), Yardi, MRI & JD EdwardsExperience: 7-9 years of full-time work experience in Property Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Payable, Budgeting and General Ledger Accounting. Knowledge in Commercial Real Estate Accounting is requiredOrganization Structure: Report to Team ManagerWork Schedule: Ability to work flexible schedule during day, night and weekend shiftsIn this role you will be responsible for:Primary point of contact for the clients for day-to-day accounting activitiesComplete, review and research property management transactions, including schedule charges and billing adjustmentsMaintain and review Rent Roll, Tenant Ledger, Aged Delinquency, and Lease Expiration reports monthlyMaintain and review cash/accrual/tax/GAAP based property general ledgers, balance sheets and income statements, including preparing and recording journal entries as neededPrepare and distribute monthly financial reporting packages, variance reports and all other additional schedules as required by the client.Reconcile transaction discrepancies by collecting and analyzing bank account informationReconcile all balance sheet accounts and examine all general ledger accounts for accuracy and make corrections as needed monthlyReview and fully understand the CAM Reconciliation process.Work closely with the property management team to support and review annual operating budgetsReview AP invoices for accurate coding and proper documentation prior to postingReview daily Cash Receipt batches for proper documentation and correct application prior to postingMonitor all cash requirementsProvide ownership funding requests/cash distributions as requiredShould take complete ownership on handling the assigned property queries & work closely with the property manager & Onshore accountantsReview & post other accountants & specialist team's workParticipate in client calls and provide training to the team membersWork with team members to improve existing processesBe focused on continually improving technical as well as soft skillsKey Competencies:Organized, Independent, Collaborative, Efficient, flexible, self-motivated Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment are essentialStrong in Accounting concepts Strong MS office skillsMust possess good analytical skillsHigh degree of professionalism and a service-oriented mindset Please share your profiles to fmssschiring@rrd.com AGG
