The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for analysing fluid flow, heat transfer, and related physical processes. This role requires expertise in running simulations, interpreting data, and applying insights to enhance product design and performance. You'll work closely with our R&D and design teams, contributing to cutting-edge solutions in a collaborative and innovative environment.Job RequirementsCFD Software Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using tools like ANSYS Fluent, CFX, or Barracuda Virtual Reactor for modeling fluid flow, heat transfer, and related physical processes. Strong understanding of combustion physics, with experience in combustion modeling, including chemical reactions, flame propagation, and emissions prediction. Skilled in multiphase flow simulations, managing complex liquid-gas, solid-liquid, and gas-solid interactions. Familiarity with models such as Volume of Fluid (VOF), Eulerian-Eulerian, and Lagrangian Particle Tracking.Design Integration: Proficiency in building CAD models in SolidWorks or SpaceClaim for CFD analysis, and expertise in Python or MATLAB for automating workflows, scripting, and data processing to improve simulation efficiency and reproducibility. Ability to work closely with the Research and Design team to incorporate CFD insights into product development, ensuring the designs meet all functional and performance standards.Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Solid background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer for accurately modeling real-world conditions in simulations. Strong analytical skills to interpret CFD results, identify potential improvements, and optimize designs to enhance product performance.Effective Communication: Excellent written and spoken English proficiency to effectively communicate technical findings, generate comprehensive reports, and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
