Since 1998, McCain has been engaged in agriculture R&D and in the development of the frozen food market in India and the countries of the subcontinent.The Test COE Leader is responsible for establishing, managing, and evolving the Testing Center of Excellence within the organization. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality software products through the implementation of standardized testing processes, tools, and methodologies. The Test COE Leader will lead a team of testing professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing best practices across all stages of the software development lifecycle. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Testing Center of Excellence.Establish and enforce standardized testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.Align the COE's objectives with the overall business goals and IT strategy.Operational Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and management of all testing activities.Ensure the availability and utilization of appropriate testing tools and technologies.Manage resource allocation and utilization across various projects to optimize efficiency.Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of testing professionals.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Quality Assurance:Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through rigorous testing processes.Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of testing efforts.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to integrate testing into the overall development process.Communicate testing strategies, plans, and results to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing-related matters.Innovation and Improvement:Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and methodologies.Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies to improve testing capabilities.Promote the use of automation and other innovative testing practices to increase productivity and reduce time-to-market.KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:12+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role within a testing or QA organization.Proven track record of establishing and managing a Testing Center of Excellence or similar function.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Alignment with McCain core valuesKey Competencies:· Drives Results, Collaboration, Customer focus OTHER INFORMATIONHours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needsTravel: requiredJob is primarily performed in a standard office environment but working from home an option upon agreement with Manager & McCain Policies AGG
