Web Developer - Job DescriptionExperience Required:Minimum of 6 years of full-time experience in web development, with a strong focus on backend development.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable multi-tier web applications.Build and optimize backend architectures to ensure performance and reliability.Develop, maintain, and support programs/tools for internal and external clients.Design and implement efficient database structures and queries.Analyze, diagnose, and resolve backend application errors and performance issues.Integrate 3rd-party APIs (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google, Payment Gateways) into web applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.Define project plans, ensure timely execution, and meet delivery deadlines.Optimize platform speed and performance, including Redis/memcache and CDN implementation.Work with open-source products and ensure adherence to industry standards.Technical Expertise:Backend Development:Proficient in PHP (7.4 and later versions).Experience with frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter.Hands-on experience with Magento 2, including custom module (theme and plugins) development.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.Expertise in database programming with MySQL, including query optimization.Frontend Development:Solid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, React JS, CSS, and HTML.Mobile Development:Proficient in developing applications using Flutter.Version Control:Skilled in using version control systems such as SVN and Git.API Integration:Extensive experience integrating 3rd-party APIs for social media, payment gateways, and other services.Additional Skills:Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (e.g., Redis/memcache, CDN).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong backend architecture and database design knowledge.Preferred Skills:Exposure to backend performance optimization and secure coding practices.Experience with WooCommerce and WordPress backend customization.Hands-on experience with open-source technologies.Key Skills:Backend Development, PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, WordPress, Magento 2, Flutter, Redis, CDN, WooCommerce, MySQL, JavaScript, React JS, CSS, and HTML.This role is ideal for a self-driven developer with strong backend development skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality web solutions on time.
