Job details
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various hardware and software problems. They should be comfortable providing technology solutions to employees and working closely with third party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones. This candidate should have prior experience working with information technology and understand the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up to date. ResponsibilitiesManaging and supporting all day-to-day IT Operations & Coordinate with Global IT. Coordinate application support bridging functions and technical supportQAD Management - Take care of new QAD module/functionality implementation, QAD consultation, cross functional collaboration to follow the best practices. Lead all the QAD Enhancement/Customization projects. Taking care of all QAD day to day operations.Local IT Administration - Desktop Support, printer support, installation/uninstallation of software.IT Auditing - Ensuring the IT Laws to be followed as per the Personal Data Protection Laws. Also takes care of the Statutory Audit by current regulations and management systems.Employee Onboarding - Arranging and configuring new system for Employee Onboarding, O365 account creation and installation of mandatory and role specific applications.New IT Projects and Operation - Plan and execute the new projects with the best possible methodology depending upon the nature of project.Cloud Service Management - Managing the cloud services for IIPL, which includes QAD Cloud management, Cloud Network Management, VPN management.IT Vendor Management - Scouting and suggesting vendors for the organizational needs. Collaborating and managing Vendors for QAD services, Network Services, UPS Services.ISP Management - Managing ISPs to ensure the seamless internet availability for the factory. Taking care of the Network bandwidth utilization, High availability etc.O365 Administration - Taking care of creation/deletion/password management for the O365 user accounts both existing and new. IT includes account management for Outlook, Teams, Excel etc. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to O365.Security Awareness Program -Taking care of Security Awareness Program for IIPL initiated by Global IT and ensuring its completion. Also train and teach best practices to avoid getting phished or hacked.IT Budgeting and Control - Prepare the IT Budget on forecast basis and follow the best practices to adhere to the same. Reports the spending regularly to the Global IT to stay below the forecast.IT Hardware & Software - Take care of procurement of New IT assets and software as per the requirement. Also takes care of repair/replacement etc.Data centre Management - Mangeing the server room and its devices by ensuring best practices which include rack management, cabling, proper power distribution, avoiding heating issues etc.IT asset inventory Management - Planning the IT inventory on forecast basis for the availability of IT Assets, also managing and keeping track of existing IT inventory.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology or relevant field5+ years of experience in related fieldExperience in information technology space and solving various software and hardware problemsStrong technical problem solving and communication skills AGG
