L&T Technology Services | Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities. JD:Design and development of hydraulic integration components (Hose As, tube As, Sheetmetal, etc) for Mining Track machines with global and regional Team collaboration. This includes concept, final design, Supplier interaction, co-ordination with Detailing/Checking/Releasing, Fitup/Test rework documentation, parts procurement, validating the test results. Also, they have primary responsibility of meeting the requirements, cost, and timeline of the project.Skills:• Strong skills in 3D modeling of piping, sheet metals & PLM Tools• Familiar with Hose & Tube assembly manufacturing and assembly process• Familiar with different types of connections and standards (ISO, SAE, etc)• Hydraulic Components (Pump, Cylinders, Motors, Valve, etc) & schematic reading knowledge• Good communication & coordination skillsTools: • Creo - Simulations, Mechanism, Sheetmetal, Piping & Assembly • PLM Tools • Desired CAT tools: HVC, SDP Fluid Lines, Teamcenter, Vismockup Requirements: • Diploma/Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical Engineer or equivalent • 3 - 5 Years of work experiences. • Desired experiences: Heavy/construction vehicles in hydraulic integration."
