Primary Job Responsibilities:The Global Command Center Support team has responsibility for implementing and supporting Foundever Global Network. As a member of this team, Primary responsivities will be assisting in incident calls and the network projects and other important related tasks which includes Network Design and Implementation.This position is part of a 24x7 Global Team with peers in Mumbai. This team provides GCC support for various platforms including Cisco, F5, ISE, Checkpoint and Solarwinds.Design, develop, and maintain the organization's network architecture, ensuring it meets current and future business needs.Lead, mentor and manage a team of network engineers.Provide technical guidance and delegate tasks to ensure timely delivery of projects and resolution of issues.Oversee the incidents and its resolution of network incidents and problems, ensuring root cause analysis and implementation of long-term fixes.Manage relationships with vendors, internet service providers (ISPs), and third-party partners for procurement and support.Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.Create and deliver regular reports on network performance, uptime, outages and incidents to management.Conduct regular assessments of network performance and capacity to ensure scalability.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure network infrastructure aligns with business requirements.Act as a point of escalation for network-related issues and coordinate with other IT teams for resolution.Provide training and skill development opportunities for the network team to stay updated with emerging technologies.Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.Typical Qualifications:Education (if beyond High School or equivalent):Preferred - Bachelor in Engineering - Computers / Electronics / Communication or related field, Graduate/Post Graduate in Science/Math/ITCisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security) would be added advantage.Related experience with relevant technology certificationsExperience Target (in this job or a related function/field):7 - 9 years of experience in Network operationSkills: (identify essential skills required, and identify additional skills that enable success in performing this job)Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with specific focus on technical and operational documentationStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsExcellent customer service, analytical and organizational skillsWilling to work in 24x7 rotational shiftAbility to take initiatives for individual projects as well as work in a team environmentSkills:(describe type and level of knowledge or ability needed to perform essential job functions and those that enable success in performing this job)Experience or exposure to multiple knowledge proficiencies including:Complete and in-depth knowledge of WAN, LAN, Firewall, Switching technologies and Datacenter architecturesThorough understanding and knowledge of network operating systems, network equipment and networking protocolsMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliabilityWell knowledge/experience on the routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP ,BGP)Well knowledge/ Experience on routers and switches (as, Cisco9500,ASR 1000, ISR/ Cisco6500, Cisco Nexus)Well Knowledge / Experience in Content Filtering of Cisco WSAWell knowledge/ Experience on Meraki MR / MX devicesWell knowledge/ Experience on Cisco Firewalls (ASA, FWSM) and Cisco IPSEC and IPS Modules/AppliancesWell knowledge/ Experience on the IOS (as, IOS-XR / IOS SR & SX)Well Knowledge/ Experience on the network and server load balancers (F5 )Well Knowledge/ Experience on any Network Management System such as Solarwind, Network Flow and Splunk, Sumologic etc..Layer 2 protocols including, VSS, VPC and Spanning Tree.Wireshark/Sniffer analysis / Ripper / NMAPAbility to evaluate technological needs and recommend appropriate solutions using standards and best practicesAnalyze network traffic and performance metrics to optimize infrastructure and enhance service delivery.Understanding of how to escalate issues with vendor partners to drive resolution.Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, under pressure, to resolve technical issues.Ability to communicate technical information to a less technical audience which may include senior leadership.Creation of MOP/SOP and responsible for change managementResponsible for technical documentation of customer network and updating internal knowledge databaseSpecial Certifications (if appropriate--identify if required to perform the job or just preferred):Industry certifications (can be used in place of a university degree)Cisco certifications - CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate or CCNP Cisco Certified Network ProfessionalActively coaches and advises othersIdentifies issues and takes initiative to improve the team effectivenessProvide support for escalated network issues, assisting junior engineers and other IT staff.Mentor and train junior network engineers and IT staffShifts:Should be ok with 24/7 Rotational Shifts (Including Evening & Night Shifts) with 2 Week OffsBudget: 18 LPA AGG
