Salary: $134,930 - $189,005 per annum Classification: Medical Practitioner Level 5-11 (Registrar/Senior Registrar) Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award. Period of Employment: Fixed term full time day work, 76 hours (+10 hours protected training time) per fortnight, effective 3 February 2025 for up to 4 years (24 months negotiable). Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Location: Surgical Services - Urology, Royal Hobart Hospital Responsibilities: The Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day management of private & public inpatients/outpatients and provides afterhours emergency cover at the hospital as required. Essential Requirements: Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role. The employee’s responsibility is to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change.

• General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable).
