About the Role ACT's Digital Marketing & Design Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, driving engagement and supporting the overall marketing strategy. You will create eye-catching videos and graphics alongside compelling copy for social media, web and other collateral. This position involves working within a small, focused marketing team, coordinating and finalising content deliverables for a fast-growing, values-driven organisation. You will produce creative outputs following our brand guidelines, messaging strategy and marketing priorities, tailored to the specifics of each media channel and meeting the technical requirements for maximum visibility and engagement. Keeping up with current trends and digital marketing practices is an essential aspect of the job to ensure content is fresh and relevant, while adhering to deadlines is just as key. Job requirements Qualifications:
- A degree (or equivalent vocational experience) in an art, design or marketing-related field
- At least 12 months of graphic design experience, ideally gained in a related environment
- Proven experience in digital content creation for various media channels, with a portfolio showcasing versatile skills
- Prior experience of managing social platforms
- At least 12 months experience of using, monitoring and marketing analytics tools for web and social media management (particularly Google Analytics), and experience of using Wordpress as a content management system
- Experience of working within a brand framework, observing key messages and identity guidelines
- In-depth understanding of social media channels (especially Instagram and LinkedIn)
- Awareness of SEO principles and web optimisation techniques
- Familiarity with web analytics tools
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
- Up-to-date with current design and marketing trends, especially on social media
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with Canva would also be an advantage
- Photography and image retouching skills
- Video production and editing skills
- First-rate writing, proof-reading and editing skills with excellent attention to detail and a flair for producing engaging copy
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and to build relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Strong time management to meet tight deadlines, achieve concurrent tasks and adapt to competing and changing priorities
- Able to work independently and also be a team player, with a pro-active and approachable nature that builds rapport
- Confident in analysing and interpreting results data for our website and social channels, extracting insights to inform future marketing activity
- Familiarity with email marketing software would be an advantage
- Strong general IT skills: MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a desire to learn and use other software packages
- Job responsibilities
- Undertake the ideation, planning and production of visually engaging and informative social content (videos, photos, graphics), ensuring consistency across all channels
- Devise content calendars and publishing schedules to ensure consistent and timely outputs
- Develop, edit and publish high-quality content for ACT’s website. Ensure this aligns with our brand voice and guidelines, and is SEO friendly to enhance the visibility and ranking of our website
- Perform regular website updates, including creating and formatting new pages
