Chief Financial Officer £250,000 per annum + bonus + equity City of London (Hybrid) ZB008 Finatal is seeking an exceptional Finance Director to join a dynamic, high growth, private equity-backed professional services company. It is a digital transformation and workload automation business, based in London with a $30m revenue and $5m of EBITDA. It presents a unique opportunity for an experienced finance leader to work in the hands-on detail of the business but with a commercial and strategic eye to help it grow toward a PE exit in the near future. As CFO, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the CEO and stakeholders to support the company’s ambitious growth objectives, and prepare the business for exit. You’ll lead the finance function, as well as building the finance team around you, with a focus on optimising profitability, driving financial performance, and ensuring operational efficiency, as well as partnering across other areas of the business to overall success. Key Responsibilities: · Provide strategic financial input to support long-term business objectives. · Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to meet company targets. · Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to drive business performance and decision-making. · Develop comprehensive board packs and provide actionable insights for investors and stakeholders. · Monitor KPIs and deliver regular financial updates to the executive team and board. · Lead financial management of client projects, including rate cards and time & materials contracts. · Optimise pricing strategies, assess growth opportunities, and adjust revenue models for profitability. · Support M&A activities, including integration and due diligence processes. · Mentor and build a high-performing finance team, ensuring strong financial management across the business. · Lead financial systems improvements and manage ERP system migration · Serve as the primary point of contact for private equity investors, providing regular performance updates. · Manage debt funding arrangements, ensuring compliance with reporting and covenant obligations. Key Requirements: · Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience. · Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within a professional services environment. · Significant experience working in private equity-backed businesses, with experience including investor relations and covenant reporting. · Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in Professional Services revenue recognition, time & materials contracts · Hands-on experience implementing/upgrading ERP systems · Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team. · Demonstrated success in M&A integration. · Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
