Cyber Security Specialist

Lead Cyber Security Analyst Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 Fully Remote I am currently working with a renewable energy market leader to expand their security team! This is a small but well-established team with the ambition to grow further. This is a great opportunity for a Microsoft security specialist to take full rein of an industry leading internal security function in which you would be the pivotal factor within the team. Working as Senior Security analyst you will be responsible for acting not only as escalation point but right-hand individual for the Head of IT. Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a lead and technical escalation point for all critical information security incidents.
• Utilise internal and external resources to proactively research emerging threats, vulnerabilities and threat intelligence on various adversaries and attack methods.
• Collaboratively work with the wider cyber defence team to recommend ways to develop automated processes.
• Act as deputy to the Head of IT Security, presenting to senior stakeholders on a regular basis.

• Experience acting as a technical coach and mentor to junior analysts and uptraining them in a multitude of growth areas.
• Demonstrated experience working in an advanced SOC function as technical lead across multiple functions.
• Experience using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Azure Sentinel at a proficient level.
• Experience communicating to and presenting Infront of senior stakeholders.
