FP&A Manager - FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and hands-on FP&A Manager to join a leading business based in Hertfordshire on an initial nine month FTC. Leading a small team, the FP&A Manager will collaborate with senior leaders across the business to set clear targets to support ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of weekly trading reports and commentary for executive and senior leadership
• Take ownership of month-end performance updates , including in-depth analysis and commentary to effectively communicate results to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive improvements and streamline reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate the team’s transition to enhanced reporting solutions such as Power BI
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyse and interpret business performance , identifying risks and opportunities and providing actionable recommendations to support growth.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities , including model development, performance analysis, and crafting stakeholder presentations to inform strategic decisions.
• Mentor and guide a junior staff member

• Qualified accountant.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills.
• Highly numerate with the ability to analyse, model and interpret data, including large data sets.
• Experience with BI tools an advantage
• Commercial awareness with an ability to influence decision-making.
• Strong presentation skills and experience in stakeholder management.

• £70-75,000
• Hybrid working with 2/3 days a week in office
• Potential for contract extension based on project requirements and performance
• Work within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
