LOGISTIC EXECUTIVE

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare weekly planning delivery schedule.
2. Communicate closely with various departments (e.g., store, marketing & sales, lorry driver, and accounts).
3. Responsible for daily delivery arrangements according to customer sales order listings.
4. Coordinate with the Account Department for issuing customer Delivery Orders (DO) and invoices. DO can be printed from the logistics unit or account unit for convenience in delivery scheduling. Superior will forward the latest CoA or refer to the CoA file if required to attach together with the DO for delivery.
5. Communicate effectively with lorry drivers and external transporters for delivery arrangements, ensuring compliance with customer delivery policies.
6. Maintain communication with customers regarding order delivery schedules to ensure timely completion of deliveries.
7. Report any customer complaints to the superior immediately.
8. Update delivery status to customers and superiors.
9. Liaise with forwarders for the arrival of imported goods and export shipment delivery arrangements.
10. Work closely with forwarders for container quantity delivery, unloading, and empty container pull-back arrangements to avoid demurrage and detention charges. Inform the superior of any D&D charges that might be incurred.
11. Collaborate with the Production Assistant Manager for customer order quantities and lead times (for own production products).
12. Coordinate with the store department for goods arrivals and delivery, sample preparation, re-packing, and re-sticker arrangements.
13. Responsible for arranging courier/delivery samples to customers.
14. Arrange raw materials for gamma-ray.
15. Check customer-signed DOs and ensure all DOs are returned completed.
16. Verify that transporter charges are correct.
17. Handle general record-keeping and proper documentation.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
