Account Executive
Job details
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Issue and track invoices to clients, ensuring timely collection of payments. - Process supplier invoices and schedule payments. - Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. - Prepare and submit tax filings (e.g., SST, corporate tax) in compliance with Malaysian regulations. - Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. - Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts. - Assist with payroll calculations, statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), and ensure timely disbursements. - Prepare and organize documents for internal and external audits. - Respond to auditors' queries and ensure timely resolution of issues. - Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and external auditors. - Work closely with other departments to support smooth business operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background: - Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) are preferred. Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance. - Familiarity with Malaysian accounting practices and software (e.g., SQL, QuickBooks, or Xero). Skills: - Able to provide management with accounting advisories. - Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax and regulatory requirements. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
