Line Pilot - Meekathara

We are now recruiting for our next Ground School, commencing in April 2025! We are looking for pilots who are ready to take on the challenge of serving in a dynamic and rewarding environment. About the role This FIFO Line Pilot role is based in Meekatharra, WA 6642 and is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA team, providing vital services to regional and remote communities on a 0.65FTE basis. What you'll be doing

• Operate fixed-wing aircraft to transport patients, staff and equipment to and from remote locations.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft in accordance with all relevant regulations, procedures and policies.
• Provide high-quality patient care and liaise with medical teams on board.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks and documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of aviation operations and safety.

What we're looking for

• Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
• Single Pilot and/or Aeromedical experience will be highly advantageous.
• Significant experience (minimum 1500 hours) flying fixed-wing aircraft in a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong safety focus and commitment to best practice aviation standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical and operational staff.
• Resilience and the ability to work effectively in remote and challenging environments.
