We are seeking an experienced Training & Development Delivery Manager to join our Citizen and Customer Services team. About the role | Ko te mahi nei Reporting to the Head of Citizen and Customer Services, this role focuses on overseeing all aspects of training and quality within the unit, ensuring the delivery of outstanding service to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Motivate and develop the team, promoting excellence and continuous improvement. Mentor staff to apply best practices in training.
- Training Management: Develop and execute training strategies. Design and deliver programs that support exceptional customer service.
- Quality Assurance: Implement a quality management framework. Monitor and report on customer interaction quality across all channels.
- Strategic Collaboration: Build strong stakeholder relationships to promote collaboration and innovation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and enhance training methods. Provide reports on training and quality outcomes.
- At least 7 years of experience in training and quality management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive practical experience.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing training and quality management strategies.
- Exceptional presentation and instructional skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage complex situations.
- Excellent organisational and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective relationships.
- Hours of work: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Position: Permanent.
- Salary: $115,466 - $128,295 per annum based on a 40-hour week.
- Location: This position is primarily based at Te Hononga, Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street.
