Telemarketing Product Specialist (based in Singapore)

• Achieve sales target KPIs, call quality and operational standards;
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling;
• Handle and follow up with customer enquiries with confidence;
• Convert leads provided by the bank to sales through telemarketing activities;
• Ensure calls are conducted with full adherence to regulations and in line with Quality Assurance standards;
• Liaise with internal departments on policy fulfillment;
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks;
• Highlights any potential concerns/risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / Diploma; or equivalent
• Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
• Comfortable with outbound calls and stakeholder interactions
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
• Patient and resilient to handle rejection and objections
• Independent, organized, and positive worker with excellent interpersonal skills
• Good team player with ability to multitask and meet high service standards;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to multitask to efficiently reply to enquiries; meticulous in documentation and fulfillment work
• High level of integrity, takes accountability for work and demonstrates a good attitude towards teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current processes and adapts to embrace new changes.
• Relevant insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI, and HI will be preferred;
• Prior experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous;
• Willing and able to relocate to Singapore for work.
