Add expected salary to your profile for insights.- Plan and prepare well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to the abilities of all students and the syllabus being taught.
- Teach Cambridge curriculum and Pearson Edexcel IAL (Secondary IGCSE and A Levels – Business Studies/Commerce/Accounting).
- Develop course materials like homework assignments, syllabi, and handouts.
- Provide extra support to students that require it.
- Maintain strong organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Maintain and update student attendance records, grades, and varied required records.
- Promote and support extra-curricular activities.
- Update professional knowledge and expertise to keep up to date with developments in teaching practice and methodology.
- Maintain an orderly working atmosphere in the classroom, following the school’s policies on behaviour, health and safety, and equal opportunities.
- Liaise with parents and colleagues where appropriate.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, online workshops, and other continuing education initiatives.
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Commerce/Accounting or any related field.
- Possession of an education certification is preferred; required for expatriates.
- Well versed in the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in Business Studies/Commerce/Accounting Cambridge syllabus.
- The ability to teach an additional subject would be an advantage.
- IT savvy and well versed in Microsoft Office.
- A strong team player.
- Approachable and able to maintain good relationships with students and colleagues.
- A passionate educator with high levels of professionalism and care for students.
- Willing to play an active role in the co-curricular life of a busy international school.
- Possess the ambition, enthusiasm, and growth mindset to play a key role in shaping and developing a growing and dynamic school.
