About The Role We’re looking for our very first Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our finance (‘funance’) team of three. We’re looking for someone highly skilled and motivated as you’ll play a critical role in driving Halter’s financial performance as we grow globally throughout Australia and the US this year. You’ll be providing insightful analysis, strategic planning, and forecasting to our exec and board of directors. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. Equally important, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t mind rolling their sleeves up and doing what’s best for Halter and the team. What your day could look like
- Lead the financial planning and forecasting process, including the preparation, development and consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
- Executive business performance reporting to our Senior Leadership Team, our Exec and our Board.
- Preparation and distribution of financial forecasting process reports.
- Working with senior leaders on departmental forecasts and budgets.
- Assembling and summarising financial data to be used in financial reports, conducting margin analysis, analysing results and providing commentary.
- Develop, automate and maintain financial and business performance reports to a high standard, in support of changing business needs, providing insights and recommendations as appropriate.
- Continuous improvement of reporting and forecasting processes and tools.
- Professional credentials through a recognised professional accounting body - Qualified CA, CPA or CIMA.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Good knowledge of financial and accounting processes and principles.
- Strong business acumen. You understand key business risks and are able to report on levers to mitigate these risks.
- An innovative mindset. Resilience, proactiveness around change and improvement, ability to influence and change manage. You’ll bring proven experience with change management.
- Experience in manufacturing or inventory business would be preferred.
- You will have strong communication skills to be able to engage with stakeholders and navigate competing priorities.
- You will have a strong focus and ability to work under pressure.
