Key Accountabilities:
- Perform corrective maintenance on machines belonging to customers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on schedule.
- Perform service and recondition faulty equipment after repair.
- Perform pre-installation test, installation, and commissioning of machines at customers’ sites.
- Provide timely and proper reports to customers after completion of a service call.
- Execute tasks assigned within response time.
- Check, track, and monitor unclosed calls till completion.
- Ensure machine downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Escalate unresolved service calls timely to Command Center for guidance, assistance, and help to solve the service calls.
- Provide professional and excellent service to customers and at times to other fellow engineers when required.
- Maintain cordial relationships with customers, peers, and fellow staff.
- Facilitate Call Desk with a complete update after completing a service call in a timely manner.
- Ensure spare parts requested are returned promptly within the specified timeframe given.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, software/application reload.
- Provide technical support at site or via online communication tools.
- Support initiatives/projects from the customers and company’s Management whenever required.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Able to present solutions in written and oral reports.
- Possess analytic skills and good attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent spoken and written English with high initiatives and a positive attitude.
- Pleasant attitude and personality and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
