Head of Humanities

We are seeking an outstanding, dynamic and inspirational Head of Humanities Faculty for August 2025. They will play a major role in developing a core faculty within our Secondary School in our drive towards becoming an outstanding international school. Key Requirements:

1. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a first degree plus a post-graduate.
2. Have a minimum of five years teaching experience in the UK or overseas.
3. Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice, including Assessment for Learning and Accelerated Learning.
4. Have a proven track record of leading an outstanding Humanities Faculty and developing its staff.
5. Have a thorough knowledge of the KS3-5 Humanities ENC, including A-Level teaching experience of a Humanities subject.
6. Have an advanced ability to use ICT to support teaching and learning.
7. Be able to engage, motivate and support children, staff, and parents.
8. Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate.
9. Be a positive and enthusiastic member of the staffroom.
10. Be willing to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the School.
