Associate, Bid and Design, Shared Services Center
Support sales team on design and specification work and support in finalizing typical system and floor plans layout and cost estimation on all products to offer in a tender bid for local and remote markets in the most timely and accurate manner. A glimpse of your daily mission- Work with Sales Team to understand the tender requirements/expectations to prepare tender responses.
- Prepare design and specification works on typical product configuration and space planning and floor plan layout.
- Once drawings are finalized, prepare proposal with bill of quantity, images of products, comprehensive product specifications with solutions on products and services, with approved margins to fulfil the technical specifications and requirements of customer’s and scope of works within the tender.
- Communicate and collaborate with Haworth factories and 3rd party suppliers with CAD drawings of non-standard products to get pricings and lead time to quote to customer’s specifications.
- Work closely with Shared Service Centre Visualisation teams on visualisation requests to substantiate the value propositions of the proposals created for customers.
- Prepare data and pricing for 3rd party product data creation for order files and order entry.
- Create Operational Maintenance Manual/ Product presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint format.
- Maintain all drawings and files in the archive library.
- Ensure all drawings and quotations to customers are submitted on time.
- Work with Project/Life Cycle Service Manager on churn/reconfiguration/service works on the request of the customers to create pricing and proposals.
- Prepare margin calculations for service works to log in the service orders by Shared Service Centre Order Services Team.
- Cross checking all order documents submitted by Sales are completed with proper approval by the management and customers before dispatching to Shared Service Centre Order Services for order entry.
- Prepare all OBK files and Margin Calculations for the project for order entry, and ensuring the quality in pricing, discounts and specifications are correct.
- Diploma/Degree in Architecture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in preparing quotations, with proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, PCON, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Project Symbols.
- Japanese language skills (speaking and writing) are an advantage, as this role requires supporting the Japan market.
- Dedicated and meticulous, with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
