The Product Sales Specialists are responsible for providing clinical and product expertise to support our sales and marketing initiatives by serving as a field-based clinical resource to our customers and end-users for all product lines including but not limited to wound care and geriatric care. You will play a key role in driving product awareness, training, and customer engagement within the healthcare sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs, clinical questions and provide product demonstrations, training, and best practice use of products for ideal patient outcomes.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain clinical relationships with targeted customer accounts by providing ongoing clinical consultation and by contributing to the strategic goal of securing and/or increasing business within the account.
  • Clinical Liaison: Act as a clinical liaison for customers by providing their clinical feedback, questions and overall concerns in an effort to promote consistent and uniform messaging and collaboratively solve problems.
  • Product Expertise and Education: Collaborate with Sales Representatives by coordinating, creating, presenting, and implementing product presentations and educational materials with the goal to ensure proper product usage, clinical acceptance and conversion. Coordinate with hospital clinicians to develop educational tools, programs and in-service presentations that meet the needs of their facility.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Maintain a presence during the product evaluation and conversion stages to gather and report customer feedback and insights to the product development team to support continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all clinical trials are conducted ethically and proper documentation is maintained, and products meet compliance standards. Maintain professional credentials and any education necessary to maintain clinical status; comply with and meet vendor credentialing program requirements of all accounts within assigned territory.
  • Market Research: Maintain clinical relevance in the field and stay up to date with best practices by reviewing relevant literature, peer-reviewed journals, and by participating in regional and national wound care organizations.
  • Clinical Guidance: Provide clinical guidance and work to understand customers' complaints accompanied by proposing potential solutions to help resolve product or user issues.
  • Clinical Research: Collaborate with clinicians, healthcare facilities and DeRoyal sales, marketing, and quality teams to facilitate appropriate development and use of white papers, case studies and clinical research to validate the safety, efficacy and positive financial impact of DeRoyal WC products.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Tissue Viability Specialist required.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years in the medical industry with experience in wound care and geriatric care training or sales or a combination required. Fresh graduates are eligible to apply.
  • Additionally, registration with the relevant professional body, such as the Malaysian Nursing Board or the Malaysian Medical Council preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Able to read, analyze, develop and interpret clinical publications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to create and effectively deliver a presentation to a large group.
  • Ability to creatively think and interactively solve problems.
  • High attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through skills.
TRAVEL
  • Domestic travel in excess of 50% of the time including overnights.
  • Ability to productively work while remote.
  • Potential for occasional international travel to support international sales team.
